As a Prime Government Contractor for U.S Treasury, we are currently searching for a talented Data Center Operations Manager in Washington, DC.
About the Job
You will be providing IT Infrastructure Operations Support Services (IOSS) to meet current and emerging operational requirements for the U.S Treasury's IT Infrastructure environment as a Data Center Operations Manager.
Job Requirements
Have 5+ years' experience managing Data Center Operations on a Government Contract. Data Center support is needed 365 days a year, twenty-four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days a week (24x7) at all primary Data Centers, or the ability to monitor and respond onsite within a pre-defined SLA, and remotely for services hosted by third party Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) within one hour of an incident that cannot be resolved remotely. The Data Center operations and administration services are the activities associated with the provisioning and day-to-day management of the installed systems and software environment. Data Center operations services encompass major hardware and infrastructure software platforms including server platforms, databases, application servers, operating systems, IP-based networks, and remote access services.
The Data Center Manager will be responsible for
The Data Center Operations Manager is responsible for overall operation of Data Center contract staff, to include ensuring reporting, escalations and staffing are adequate to the needs. This may entail adjusting shifts to accommodate changes in call volumes and ensuring that staff is properly trained for the types of tickets received. In addition, certain operational modes - such as business continuity and disaster recovery - demand planning, and preparedness to ensure business resilience and agility. Changing business demands require an agile IT infrastructure that can rapidly transform the Data Center from IT expenditure into a value-based business service capability. Data Center management provides coverage of systems, IT Security, business continuity, and disaster recovery. Data Center staff are well versed in network management and will work alongside other teams in O&M and troubleshooting activities at a senior level. Senior Data Center staff are expected to have engineering as well as Administrator skill sets.

The Data Center Manager will be responsible for
- Daily Standup briefings and Daily Status Reports (SITREP's) are provided to the government PM and staff.
- Submit a weekly Desk Side Services Report which includes graphs and metrics that support the performance and SLA agreements.
- Submit a monthly Data Center Operations Report.
- Produce ad hoc reports as requested by Treasury management or the COR.
- Provide a monthly and quarterly reviews of performance metrics
- Data Center operations and administration services activities associated with the provisioning and day-to-day management of the installed systems and software environment.

Required Skills
- Bachelor's Degree
- U.S Citizenship and a High-Level Public Trust (Tier 4/BI) is required.
- 5+ years' experience in managing a Data Center Operations and 10 years of overall IT Infrastructure experience.
