Inventory Control Analyst

Delta Solutions and Strategies is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mission Assurance Manager candidate to support a high-performance team within the Program Executive Office Missiles and Space at PM SHIELD (Short and Intermediate Effectors for Layered Defense) at Redstone Arsenal, AL. What you will be doing: Work independently with broad lateral guidance and responsibility for overseeing the overall management, planning, coordination, and growth of property accountability and supply support activities within the project office. Control the purchase of materials for product offices and Installation properties/services. Monitor and maintain property and prepare applicable reports. Represent Army Project Office in meetings pertaining to Property Control and recommend actions in accordance with army regulations, supplemental policy, local policy, and Standard Operation Procedures. Perform incoming processing for U.S. Government owned property per ISO procedures, maintain property accountability records, and determine condition of property and arrange disposal of surplus of obsolete material or equipment. Familiarity with, and use when required, the Auto Scan Tracking System (ASTS) and the Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS). Responsible for the accuracy of data input into tracking systems, and file all required documentation. Attend meetings with staff and work with several Integrated Product Teams (IPTs). Utilize the Enterprise Software and Solutions (CHESS) program to negotiate contracts with manufacturers to ensure a cost-effective product is achieved. What you will need: Minimum of 8 years' experience and a bachelor's degree Logistics background preferred Previous experience supporting Army Missiles and Space programs Must be familiar with Government properly reporting Strong attention to detail, verbal and written skills Clearance: Active SECRET clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain a clearance.
