Job Summary: KBR is seeking a Security Specialist who will provide security expertise with multi-dimensional skills encompassing collateral classified activities. The Security Specialist will be the customer focal point for security, analyze security procedures, and coordinate/recommend solutions on security deficiencies with the assigned government security task lead.
Roles and responsibilities:
• Support the development of program security policy/instructions for consideration to the government security task lead
• Provide support for integrating flexible, cost-effective and threat-based security processes, plans and procedures to protect weapon system(s) during its lifecycle
• Assist with the implementation of the Resource Protection, Force Protection, and Anti- Terrorism programs
• Assist, plan, participate in, and coordinate efforts of the program office, contractors, and user commands in the preparation and revision of time-phased, event-driven Security Classification Guides (SCGs), Program Security Directives (PSDs) as required
• May support the formal Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E) required by each government accrediting authority through pre-test preparations, participation in the tests, analysis of the results, and preparation of required reports
• Support the periodic conduct of a review of each system's audits and monitors corrective actions until all actions are closed
Required Qualifications:
• Two to five years of related experience encompassing collateral classified activities, acknowledged and unacknowledged special access programs, and SSE anti-tamper requirements
• Bachelor's Degree
• Able to communicate effectively and clearly present technical approaches and findings
CLEARANCE
• US Citizen - Secret with the ability to obtain Top Secret SCI/SAP clearances
Desired Qualifications:
• Advanced Degree
• Prior performance in role as Security Manager
