Description
SAIC is seeking a Junior Systems Engineer located at Fort Moore, GA to support the Maneuver Battle Lab. This position will assist the Maneuver Battle Lab contractor leadership in accomplishing simulation interface analysis and development.

SAIC is seeking a Junior Systems Engineer located at Fort Moore, GA to support the Maneuver Battle Lab. This position will assist the Maneuver Battle Lab contractor leadership in accomplishing simulation interface analysis and development.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Performs Software Development activities related to Information Technologies including requirements implementation, interface and data architectures, validation and verification, software development, and systems integration
- Performs functional analysis to translate software specifications into application software
- Will work with a team that is applying High Level Architecture (HLA), Distributed Interactive Simulation (DIS) protocols, and other emerging simulation interoperability standards to existing and emerging simulations used by the US Army to enable simulation federations that support distributed experimentation, test, evaluation and studies across several major Army commands
- Must be able to able to read and produce Java code, with the ability to identify errors in simulation. This person will assess reported errors, apply corrections, and code new functionality
Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's Degree and zero (0)+ years of related experience; additional four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree
Proven experience OR strong understanding of Java programming - Basic understanding of Agile technical practices and methodologies
- Experience with operating and developing within a Linux environment
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite
REQUIRED CLEARANCE:
- Must be able to obtain a full Secret Clearance; Interim Secret required prior to start, SAIC will help to obtain
- Must be a current US Citizen
