Desktop Support Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Desktop Support Engineer to provide exceptional technical support to users. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in troubleshooting hardware and software issues within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical support for desktop computers, printers, scanners, and peripherals (e.g., PDAs, video teleconferencing systems).
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Microsoft products, including Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Install and support workstation hardware and software, ensuring optimal performance and security.
Maintain high-quality customer service while addressing and prioritizing support requests.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in desktop support, with a focus on VIP clientele.
Technical Skills: Proficient in troubleshooting desktop hardware and software, print servers, and various peripherals.
Microsoft Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Microsoft products, including Windows security aspects and desktop applications.
Clearance: Must possess a Top Secret Clearance and be willing to be read on Special Compartmented Information (SCI).
Certifications: Security Plus CE Certification is required.
Work Environment:
Must be available to work on-site daily, with flexible start times between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM.
