Senior Systems Engineer

Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and integration of system models using Cameo Systems Modeler, MagicDraw, and Collaborator to support system architecture and interface design.
- Define and document system architectures, interfaces, and requirements in a model-based environment.
- Conduct trade studies and system analysis to evaluate design options and improve system performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system models align with program requirements.
- Implement MBSE best practices to enhance model consistency, accuracy, and compliance.
- Integrate MBSE with digital engineering efforts, including simulation, verification, and validation.
- Develop and maintain SysML diagrams to represent system behaviors, structures, and interactions.
- Support system design reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR), leveraging model artifacts for validation.
- Provide mentorship on MBSE tools and methodologies to junior engineers.
- Ensure model compliance with program standards and contractual requirements.
Qualifications:
- Active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility required
- Bachelor's degree or 8+ years of relevant experience
- 6+ years of systems engineering experience, with at least 3 years specializing in MBSE
- Proficiency in MBSE tools (Cameo Systems Modeler, MagicDraw, Collaborator)
- Experience with SysML, UML, and requirements database models (DOORS or similar)
- Strong understanding of system lifecycle processes, including requirements, design, integration, and testing
