Project Information Specialist III
Location: Djibouti
Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a Project Information Specialist III to support project automation initiatives, enhance team efficiency, and ensure the successful integration of technology tools within the project framework. The role involves coordination, training, IT support, and compliance with project-specific procedures and requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in maximizing project team efficiency by applying automation technology tools and methods.
• Ensure the optimal application of project automation within the framework of project-specific
requirements, budget, and schedule.
• Contribute to achieving project goals through effective automation solutions.
• Coordinate and support various aspects of scope definition, planning, implementation, and training
related to project automation.
• Work within the guidelines established in the Project Execution Plan (PEP) and Project Procedure
Manual (PPM).
• Analyze work processes and identify areas for improvement.
• Implement the desired electronic interaction between the client.
• Identify potential software or technology licensing issues.
• Monitor and address any export compliance issues related to project automation.
• Develop and deliver training sessions on automation technologies, remote collaboration tools, and
associated procedures.
• Provide task-level guidance to less experienced personnel when assigned.
• Provide IT support and troubleshooting assistance to the project team as needed.
• Ensure the smooth functioning of remote collaboration tools and systems.
• As directed by management, may supervise employees or subcontractor personnel in accordance with
the General Supervisory Duties and Responsibilities addendum.
Required Qualifications:
• High school diploma / GED equivalent, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 6 to 9 years of related experience, demonstrating the necessary job knowledge, skill level, and physical
ability to perform assigned tasks effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Prior contingency or military experience is preferred.
