Position Summary:
Kenjya-Trusant is seeking an Information Systems Security Engineer Level 3 to support our customer in the Annapolis Junction, MD area.

Level 3 - $220,000.00 - $274,000.00.

Kenjya-Trusant is seeking an Information Systems Security Engineer Level 3 to support our customer in the Annapolis Junction, MD area.
Essential Job Functions:
- The Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) shall perform, or review, technical security assessments of computing environments to identify points of vulnerability, non-compliance with established Information Assurance (IA) standards and regulations, and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Validates and verifies system security requirements definitions and analysis and establishes system security designs.
- Manually review network diagrams, network device configurations, termination points for VPNs and working knowledge of software TLS security.
- Maintain flexible and non-traditional Risk Management Framework (RMF) review of unclassified/classified networks to assess and prescribes countermeasures for secure communications.
- Apply different security standards and frameworks.
- Create security assessment reports, ad hoc technical/administrative tasks, keen writing skills and leadership qualities.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
- Due to the nature of this position and the information that employees will be required to access; U.S. Citizenship is required.
- The candidate must be familiar with applying different standards and security frameworks to include CIS benchmarks, FIPS 140-2, DISA Stigs, CNSA cryptographic suite compliance etc.
- The candidate should possess a knowledge of CACI administrative procedures, keen writing skills and leadership qualities.
- Twenty (20) years of experience as an ISSE on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security System Engineering, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of ISSE experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.
- Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security System Engineering, or related discipline may be substituted for two (2) years of experience, reducing the requirement to eighteen (18) years of experience.
- Strong crypto, network and cloud computing background.
- DoD 8570 compliance with IASAE Level 3 is required.
- Both Information Systems Security Engineering Professional (ISSEP) and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certifications are required.
- Required Security Clearance: TS/SCI w/ Poly.
