Job Description:

This position requires office presence of a minimum of 5 days per week and is located at the customer's site.

AT&T has an opening for a Systems Administrator to support configuring, building, monitoring, maintaining, updating and/or upgrading client servers in a mixed OS environment.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Support a standard automated build release of operating system (OS) and tools to support the Sponsors cadre.
  • Maintain working environments with software updates and patches.
  • Provide cyclic O&M and A&A tasks such as performing and requesting security scans, applying patches, writing and maintaining security controls and documentation.
  • Maintain a GitLab repository.
  • Maintain program plans for efforts to maintain stakeholder awareness.
  • Perform routine backups as well as maintain offline archives.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation and processes to support the environments and tools, permitting ease of use.


Required Clearance:

TS/SCI with Poly (#tssci) (#polygraph)

Required Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience performing administration of Linux and Windows.
  • Demonstrated experience installing, maintaining, and delivering servers and workstations, in physical and virtual environments, for Linux and Windows.
  • Demonstrated entry level experience in the administration of basic infrastructure services; DHCP, NTP, DNS, backup, User account setup and maintenance.
  • Demonstrated entry level experience performing administration of a local virtual infrastructure (such as VMware, Proxmox, VirtualBox, etc.) or willingness to learn as needed.
  • Demonstrated experience documenting system processes, such as System Security Plans (SSPs), requirements, and architecture, or willingness to learn.

Desired Qualifications
  • Demonstrated familiarity with AWS provisioning and operations of VPCs, accounts, and instances.
  • Demonstrated familiarity with database environments and data stewardship.
  • Demonstrated experience with VISIO to document network and rack elevation drawings.
  • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Project or similar to develop and maintain graphical schedules with dependencies.
  • Demonstrated experience with JIRA or similar for project issue tracking and management.


Our System Administrator's earn between $89,200 - $127,493. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
