Summary:

The Business Process Subject Matter Specialist will provide technical knowledge and analysis of highly specialized applications and operational environments, high-level functional systems analysis, design, integration, documentation, and implementation advice on exceptionally complex problems that need extensive knowledge of the subject matter for effective implementation.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:
  • Participates as needed in all phases of software development with emphasis on the planning, analysis, testing, integration, documentation, and presentation phases.
  • Provide high-level functional systems analysis, design, and integration support for business processes and technology solutions.
  • Analyze complex operational and system issues, offering expert recommendations for process improvements and technology adoption.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including business process workflows, requirements specifications, and system integration plans.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and stakeholders, to align business needs with technical solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices in system design and implementation.
  • Lead and support internal audits, process evaluations, and quality assurance activities to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
  • Proficiency in business process modeling tools, data analysis, and system integration techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Five (5) years relevant experience
  • Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority.
  • Must possess IT-II Non-Critical Sensitive security clearance or Tier 3 (T3) at time of proposal submission.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
