The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $63,000 - $110,500

Work You'll Do
- Reports to the Procurement Manager within the GPS Contracts & Procurement organization. Acts as an IT procurement SME for the Government and Public Services Practice (GPS)Procurement SME to drive business strategy and results. Advises client delivery teams on appropriate procurement relates strategy. Responsible to execute various activities related to procurement of software, hardware and other commodities as needed for the Government & Public Services (GPS) practice. Reviews software and reseller terms and conditions to identify and mitigate negotiation risks between Suppliers and Deloitte.
- Oversee critical and complex competitive bidding process, conduct routine analyses, including price/cost analysis.
- Use proven sourcing strategies to support business clients' requirements for software, hardware and other commodities as needed.
- Provide proposal support to GPS Deloitte Proposal Teams as needed for software, hardware and other commodities to include advising in the development of the bill of material.
- Responsible for the end-to-end procurement process of goods-based commodities based on program requirements including issuing RFQ packages, receiving and evaluating quotes, negotiating price and terms, new vendor set up processes and vender due diligence.
- Prepares purchase order packages in compliance with Deloitte's Approved Purchasing System policies and procedures.
- Strategically manages supplier relationships and support Deloitte supplier diversity programs.
- Interact professionally, using highly developed interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, with an emphasis on Customer oriented services
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Required:
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 4 years of purchasing experience
- Experience purchasing hardware and software or SaaS solutions, and other IT related products
- Active TS/SCI Required
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United Stated without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Preferred:
- Deltek Costpoint experience
- Demonstrated experience in negotiating, and leveraging value added reseller agreements
- Demonstrated proficiency with MS Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong consultative skills
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively and work collaboratively with teams
