Business Analyst and Process Improvement Intern
The Opportunity:
Business analysis and process improvement are foundational to understanding how an organization works and what can be done to optimize it. As a professional in Business Services you will learn how to analyze core aspects of your client's operations, help develop recommendations for improvements, and create asso cia ted business documentation. You'll have the opportunity to build facilitation and process documentation skills as you work with colleagues to ensure Business Services operations are effective, efficient, timely, and valuable for internal and external clients.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $46,900.00 to $96,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.

You'll have the opportunity to build facilitation and process documentation skills as you work with colleagues to ensure Business Services operations are effective, efficient, timely, and valuable for internal and external clients.
How You'll Contribute:
- Learn about process mapping facilitation approaches and desired outcomes and apply that learning to help document critical business processes in Business Services
- Work as part of the Business Services Transformation team to outline recommended actions to optimize key processes
- Support development and maintenance of key operational resources such as roles and responsibilities documents, and standard operating procedures
- Develop basic functionality proficiency in using the iGrafx sof tware tool

You Have:
- Experience maintaining key resource documentation such as project work plans, standard operating procedures and "how to" guides, or action trackers
- Experience using Micro sof t Office Suite
- Ability to collaborate and take accountability in a team environment as well as through individual contribution
- Ability to meet all deadlines and remain flexible with continually changing priorities
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
- HS diploma or GED
Nice If You Have:
- Experience with business process mapping tools such as Visio
- Ability to use analytic skills to problem-solve
- Ability to quickly learn new sof tware tools and applications
- Ability to pay strict attention to detail
- Possession of excellent organizational skills
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Scheduled to obtain an Asso cia te's or Bachelor's degree by Summer 2026
