Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. You Have:
- 3+ years of experience with implementing, testing, and fielding automation artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions, with technologies like PyTorch, MXNet, TensorFlow, or Keras, and big data technologies, including Hive, PySpark, Synapse, or Databricks
- 3+ years of experience with deploying and integrating containerized software applications using container orchestration platforms, such as Kubernetes
- 3+ years of experience designing enterprise production software solutions to meet client requirements
- Experience developing Natural Language Processing (NLP), Large Language Model (LLM), and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) enabled solutions using LangChain or LlamaIndex, LLM model registries, and embedding models and vector databases
- Experience with using Git for version control in a collaborative software development environment
- Experience creating solutions to complex problems within a collaborative, cross-functional team
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science field and 5+ years of experience as a software engineer building production-grade applications with a programming language, such as Python, Rust, Go, Scala, or Java, or 9+ years of experience as a software engineer building production-grade applications with a programming language, such as Python, Rust, Go, Scala, or Javain lieu of a degree
Nice If You Have:
- 3+ years of experience in working closely with software development teams
- Experience with project, task, and team leadership
- Experience with implementing event-driven or streaming architectures leveraging Kafka, Amazon SNS, Redpanda, or Apache Flink
- Experience with running, troubleshooting, and debugging applications on Linux systems
- Experience with building or maintaining production-grade RESTful APIs or software interfaces
- Experience with software architecture in the development of microservices
- Experience with evaluating architectural tradeoffs and designing robust service-based software applications for scalable use
- Ability to work with automated testing tools to perform testing and maintenance
- Secret clearance
- Master's degree
