Medical Planner

This position requires an active Public Trust clearance or the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance to be considered.

As required by our governmental client, this position requires being a US Citizen.

Coordinate and complete internal and joint staffing actions related to JTS / DHA policies, procedures, OPLANs/CONPLANs, directives, and medical operations within the combatant commands. Prepare informational papers and change proposals, when required, to overcome trauma care operations support deficiencies or challenges that impact mission accomplishments.

  • Pay commensurate with experience.

Medical Planner Responsibilities Include:
  • Coordinates staff actions, unclassified and classified orders, taskings, message traffic, informational messages/papers, and briefings in support of ongoing operations. Provides guidance, direction, and advice to Chief, JTS for operational elements assigned to execute operations specifically related to trauma care operations planning.
  • Identifies problems and propose solutions to the Chief, JTS to increase effectiveness and better manage CPG/TCCC guidelines /JTS products in support of all combatant commands. Provides coordination, advice and integration of DoD and service directives to the Chief, JTS to ensure that JTS medical operations, plans, orders and directives are consistent with higher headquarters plans and orders.
  • Coordinates and completes internal and joint staffing actions related to JTS / DHA policies, procedures, OPLANs/CONPLANs, directives, and medical operations within the combatant commands. Prepares informational papers and change proposals, when required, to overcome trauma care operations support deficiencies or challenges that impact mission accomplishments.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.


Medical Planner Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
  • Four (4) years of progressive experience demonstrating the required proficiency.
  • Minimum Education: Master's Degree
  • Possess the ability to communicate verbally and in writing with all levels of employees and management.
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
