The Opportunity:

As a CACI SOF Plans Technician, you will derive operational and administrative requirements through mission analysis for the unit from published strategic, operational, and tactical level plans and orders.

Responsibilities:
  • Developing, coordinating, and assessing irregular warfare plans and operations in Central Asia.
  • Drafting and tracking operations, activities, and engagements supporting National Defense Strategy priorities.
  • Identifying strategic, operational and tactical objectives
  • Identifying and tracking Measures of performance (MOPs) and measures of effectiveness (MOEs)
  • Identifying intelligence requirements in support of planning.
  • Planning and leading multi-directorate, multi-command, interagency working group meetings.
  • Drafting documents, presentations, and spreadsheets on behalf of an integrated planning team, including white papers, night orders, plan annexes, SITREPs, AMHS messages, SOPs, policy letters, and official correspondence among other products.
  • Collaborative ideation, requirements identification, and planning with joint, interagency, intergovernmental, multinational (JIIM) organizations and personnel.


Qualifications:

Required:
  • Current Top Secret/Specialized Compartmented Information Security Clearance.
  • Current Poly or the ability to obtain one.
  • Minimum of three years of experience working with SOF planning.
  • Familiarity with the breadth of joint special operations and the full spectrum of irregular warfare capabilities
  • Minimum of five years of experience with the military planning cycle and tactical ground operations.
  • Bachelor's degree and seven years of relevant experience, or associate's degree and ten years of relevant experience, or twelve years of relevant work experience.
  • Graduate of one of the following courses:
    • US Army Command and General Staff School Intermediate Level Education (ILE) course or service equivalent.
    • Operational Design Course (ODC) or service equivalent.
    • Joint Professional Military Education - Phase II (JPME-II)
    • Joint Information Planner's Course Phase II.
    • Combined Arms Center Warrant Officer Advanced Course, or the Combined Arms Center Warrant Officer Intermediate Level (WOILE) course or service equivalent.
    • SWCS NCO Senior Leader Course or equivalent course.

Desired:
  • Minimum three years of experience in forward deployed locations supporting SOF.
  • More than five years of experience with SOF, SMU, Special or Technical Units of Federal, State or Local Law Enforcement.
  • Experience and in-depth knowledge of the Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP), to include mission analysis, COA decision and CONOP approval briefings, D3A execution matrices, CONOP documents and FRAGOs.
  • Graduate of a Special Operations Campaign Artistry Program course (formerly Red Team Leader Course (RTLC))
  • Graduate of Joint MILDEC Training Course or other certifying equivalent

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$70,900 - $148,900
