We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to coordinate and facilitate communication and collaboration among multiple Scrum teams working within the NIWC Atlantic CSSP program. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Agile methodologies and experience leading cross-functional teams in a dynamic cybersecurity environment. In addition, the candidate should have a solid understanding of Cyber Security Service Provider (CSSP) operations and cloud security strategies, as well as experience supporting defensive cyber operations in IaaS, SaaS, and PaaS environments.

Responsibilities
- Facilitate Scrum Meetings: Organize and lead regular Scrum of Scrums (SoS) meetings to foster communication and coordination across multiple teams within the CSSP program.
- Ensure Alignment: Ensure alignment across teams by identifying and addressing cross-team dependencies, risks, and blockers, particularly as they relate to cybersecurity and cloud defense.
- Guide Agile Practices: Promote and support Agile principles and practices, helping teams to continuously improve their processes and deliver value in a cybersecurity context.
- Risk Management: Act as an escalation point for risks and impediments that impact the progress of Scrum teams, with a focus on addressing cybersecurity challenges in cloud environments.
- Foster Collaboration: Encourage collaboration and knowledge sharing between teams, facilitating a culture of continuous improvement in cybersecurity defense practices.
- Coordinate with Stakeholders: Collaborate with Product Owners, Project Managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that the overall program objectives are met, with a focus on delivering high-quality CSSP services to DoD and commercial customers.
- Monitor Progress: Track the progress of multiple Scrum teams to ensure timely delivery of products and services, particularly in cloud security and CSSP architecture implementation.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates on team progress, risks, and overall program health to leadership and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. An advanced degree is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in a Scrum Master or Agile leadership role, with at least 2 years in a Scrum of Scrums or similar position, ideally within a cybersecurity or cloud environment.
- Demonstrated experience leading multiple Scrum teams in a large-scale program, preferably in a CSSP or cybersecurity context.
- Experience with cloud security, defensive cyber operations, and supporting IaaS, SaaS, and PaaS environments.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance at the TS/SCI level
- Active DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), or similar Agile certifications. SAFe certification and CSSP-related certifications are a plus.
- Deep understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) and cybersecurity principles, particularly within CSSP operations.
- Familiarity with cloud service security and vendor-agnostic architecture for cybersecurity defense.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and an aptitude for removing obstacles in a cybersecurity-focused environment.
- Familiarity with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar.
Preferred
- Experience with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) or other Agile scaling frameworks.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and continuous delivery models in a cybersecurity context.
- Background in Cyber Security Service Provider (CSSP) operations and defensive cyber strategies for cloud environments.
