Piper Companies is looking for an experienced Electrical Design Validation Engineer to work onsite in San Jose, CA Monday through Friday . The ideal Electrical Design Validation Engineer will have practical experience in validation testing, both mechanical and electrical, with a strong background in hardware networking equipment. This role involves extensive EDVT testing and occasional travel to customer sites to validate their issues.

Responsibilities for the Electrical Design Validation Engineer:
- Develop and execute validation test plans for hardware products.
- Perform EDVT and DVT testing on mechanical and electrical components.
- Utilize traffic generators and environmental chambers for testing.
- Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to identify and resolve issues.
- Conduct system tests and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Travel to customer sites as needed (up to 25% of the time) to validate and resolve issues.
- Maintain detailed documentation of test procedures and results.
Qualifications for the Electrical Design Validation Engineer:
- Practical experience in validation testing (EDVT/DVT) for mechanical and electrical components.
- Hands-on experience with hardware networking equipment and validation processes.
- Manufacturing experience with hardware testing and system tests.
- Networking certification (CCNA) is a plus.
- Familiarity with traffic generators and environmental chambers.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States and obtain and maintain an Active U.S. Government Secret Clearance.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
Compensation/Benefits for the Electrical Design Validation Engineer:
- Salary range: $95,000 - $110,000 annually
- Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, Sick Leave if required by law, and Holidays.
