Responsibilities:
• As a CIS (Contract Instructor Sensor Operator) conduct simulator operations and simulator flight training for the MH-60R aircraft.
• This training will include but not limited to aircraft systems, operating procedures, tactical employment of the MH-60R aircraft and to include flight briefs and debriefs.
• The CIS will assist in teaching, updating and maintenance of related curriculum syllabi, which will include but not limited to instructor lesson guides, simulator scenarios, computer-based training, classroom lectures, and other tasks as the CIS MH-60R Flight Simulator Instructor.
Requirements:
• A CIS must be, or have been, a qualified MH-60R Sensor Operator within the preceding (5) years, completed at least one operational tour, possess extensive rotary wing experience and have a minimum total of 1000 flying hours in combination of military or civilian flight time, 800 of which must be in model. FRS or instructional tour required, however, SWTI (Seahawk Weapons and Tactics Instructor) designation is highly desired and will suffice in lieu of instructional shore tour.
• The applicant must be a US citizen, possess the ability to obtain a US passport.
• Applicant will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to receive and maintain a SECRET clearance allowing access to classified information.
• Requires mental alertness and acute concentration for long periods of time during training scenarios.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Physical ability to walk, stand, and/or sit for extended periods of time (2 hours+), be able to climb 2 flights of stairs, to climb open grated ladders for cockpit access, to lift and carry 50 pounds is required.
• Must present a professional appearance in demeanor and dress at all times.
