Job Title: Retention Coordinator
Location: Marietta, GA
Job Summary:
Mano Lani LLC has an opening for a Retention Coordinator to join our rapidly growing team in Marietta, GA. The Retention Coordinator will support the client by providing transition services for soldiers and officers transitioning from active duty with our military customers to another component, retirement, or being discharged. Mano Lani is a leader in physical and cyber security, financial management, logistics, and program management. The Retention Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting the Georgia Army National Guard (GAARNG) by evaluating trends in attrition, identifying areas for improvement, and providing actionable solutions to retain high-quality Soldiers. The individual in this role will work closely with senior leadership and staff, including the Adjutant General, Commanding General, and G1, to ensure the readiness and retention of over 11,000 personnel within GAARNG. This role requires in-depth knowledge and experience in Army National Guard recruiting and retention processes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Not listed in order of importance; other duties may be assigned) and must be able to perform the following with minimal guidance:
* Evaluate trends in attrition, identifying factors such as work-life imbalance, insufficient compensation, and lack of career opportunities.
* Identify and implement improvements to enhance work culture, improve onboarding, and provide career development.
* Engage and communicate regularly with personnel, offering competitive compensation and recognizing and rewarding good performance.
* Collaborate with various teams to align retention strategies with state goals, data requests, and maintain compliance reports.
* Supervise a team to ensure quality performance and adherence to retention strategies.
* Work closely with senior leadership and fellow teammates to ensure the readiness and retention of over 11,000 personnel within the GAARNG.
* Perform administrative tasks, data analysis, and coordination within the team to ensure goals are met.
* Present data and reports to senior leadership.
* Maintain a professional and positive attitude while working with an executive leadership team.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Economics, or Business Administration required or equivalent experience.
* Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in management, recruitment, or a related field.
* Must be a US Citizen able to obtain and maintain the required security clearance for the position
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
* Analytical mindset with the ability to gather, analyze, and interpret data for the federal government.
* Proficiency in using retention management software and other relevant systems.
* Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
* Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; and Adobe Acrobat Professional.
* Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines and ensure compliance with all policies and procedures.
Physical Requirements:
Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. There is a possibility that due to parking availability and location of work, walking moderately to long distances may be required. Possible lifting up to 25 lbs.
