Senior Cybersecurity Analyst

Location: 100% On-Site – Huntsville, AL

Security Clearance: TS/SCI Required

Position Summary:

RPI Group, Inc. is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Analyst to support our Navy customer in Hunstville, AL. This role involves monitoring security architecture, assessing vulnerabilities, implementing security measures, and ensuring compliance with DoD cybersecurity policies. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cybersecurity analysis, DoD systems, and risk mitigation.

Responsibilities:

• Must meet the Cyber Workforce 461 Systems Security Analyst Intermediate qualification requirements.
• Actively review and monitor the NCRC JMN security boundary architecture utilizing Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS). They shall archive the logs for retention as required by the JSIG.
• The candidate shall perform log reviews utilizing Endpoint Security Solution (ESS) and
SolarWinds Event Manager (SEM) tools.
• The candidate shall assess new technology capabilities as they relate to security concerns and provide recommendations to the ISSM during weekly meetings.
• Track JMN Privileged User’s Standard User Agreements (SUAs), Privileged User Agreements (PUAs), System Access and Authorization Request (SAAR) forms, annual training, and professional cert status. The Candidate shall track cybersecurity workforce (CSWF) for the program per current DoD requirements, as necessary.
• Actively monitor SIPR for CTO notifications, verify applicability, research requirements to implement, and submit response, as required.
• Collect/review site documentation from new sites as well as coordination with site POCs for annual updates. Review of each document will include verification of completeness and compliance with all security requirements.
• Implement security measures to resolve vulnerabilities, mitigate risks and recommend security changes to system or system components as needed
• Ensure cybersecurity-enabled products or other compensating security control technologies reduce identified risk to an acceptable level.
• Implement system security measures in accordance with established procedures to ensure confidentiality, integrity, availability.
• Work with system subject matter expert to mitigate / correct security deficiencies identified during security / certification testing.

Qualifications & Skills

• Active TS/SCI security clearance or higher
• IAT Level III certification or higher
• 5 + years’ experience in analyzing and securing DoD or Information Technology systems for compliance with specifications, requirements and policies.
• 5+ years of program-specific experience with cybersecurity requirements development, cyber threat analysis, cyber systems engineering, cyber systems architecture development or cybersecurity policy development experience.
• 7+ years of program-specific experience with SLBM, or Navy combat systems.
• Possess an understanding of cybersecurity, military system specifications, and DoD IA policies for both land-based and afloat/tactical systems.
• Possess the ability to communicate clearly and succinctly in written and oral presentations.

Education:  Bachelor’s in Computer Science, IT or IT-related field preferred
