Job Title: Education and Incentives Counseling Support Specialist
Location: Marietta, GA
Job Summary:
Mano Lani LLC has an opening for an Education and Incentives Counseling position to join our rapidly growing team in Marietta, GA. The Education and Incentives Counseling will support the client by supporting the recruitment and retention of Soldiers by offering expert counseling on military educational benefits. This role is essential in both recruiting new Soldiers and retaining current ones by providing comprehensive information and support regarding educational opportunities available through military service. Mano Lani is a leader in physical and cyber security, financial management, logistics, and programming management.
Education / Experience / Certifications:
* Bachelor's degree in education, human resources, business administration, or a related field.
* Military education certification or related credentials preferred
* Personnel performing on this effort shall be U.S. citizens
* Personnel are required to successfully obtain and maintain background investigations and clearances (to include periodic reinvestigations)
* 3+ years of experience performing general labor functions
* Electrician experience preferred
* Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Not listed in order of importance; other duties may be assigned) and must be able to perform the following with minimal guidance:
* Works closely with the senior leadership and fellow teammates to ensure the readiness and retention of over 11,000 personnel within the GAARNG.
* You must be comfortable working with an executive leadership team and maintain a professional and positive attitude.
* Requires a strong background in recruiting and the retention process. HR background is a plus.
* Daily tasks include administrative, data analysis, and coordination within the team to ensure goals are met.
* Proficient in the use of military systems such as GIMS and IPPS-A.
* Experience using standard office software (Microsoft Office Suite).

* Help current Soldiers utilize their educational benefits effectively.
Expert Counseling:
* Offer expert guidance on military educational benefits, including G.I. Bill.
* Assist with degree planning and managing tasks in the Guard Incentive Management System (GIMS).
Information Management:
* Deliver accurate, current, and comprehensive information about available education benefits to both prospective and current service members.
* Ensure the recruiting team has access to up-to-date information about education benefits, which frequently change.
Resource Bridging:
* Provide crucial links to resources, helping Soldiers bridge the gap between signing up for benefits and using them.
Customer Service:
* Deliver hands-on, personalized customer service, representing the Army's commitment to its Soldiers and ensuring they feel valued and supported.
* Maintain a high level of customer service and attention to detail, focusing on compliance with military policies and deadlines.
Educational Briefings and Coordination:
* Prepare and deliver educational briefings.
* Coordinate with educational institutions and scholarship programs.
* Update materials to reflect new policies.
Administrative Tasks:
* Verify Joint Service Transcripts.
* Manage educational resources.
* Submit weekly reports detailing actions.
* Follow up to ensure all tasks are on track for the next day
Physical Requirements
Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. There is a possibility that due to parking availability and location of work, walking moderately to long distance may be required. Possible lifting up to 25 lbs.
