Lockheed Martin (LM) is looking for a highly motivated Engineering Aide Sr to become a member of the Missile Systems Engineering & Integration Team.
As an Engineering Aide Sr , you will:
• Help develop, edit, and maintain technical documents, such as letters/memos leaving the organization.
• Own and maintain team processes and procedures, ensuring they are up-to-date and compliant with company standards.
• Develop and maintain document templates, including reports, proposals, and other technical documents.
• Coordinate and track document and technical reviews, ensuring timely feedback and approval from stakeholders.
• Create and edit presentations for team meetings, project reviews, and other stakeholder engagements.
• Maintain and organize team documents, including technical documents, meeting minutes, and action items for open investigations
• Assist with creating and editing images, diagrams, and other visual aids for technical documents and presentations.
This position requires the ability to obtain a DOD security clearance. US Citizenship required.

Basic Qualifications:
• Associate's or bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Technical Communications, or a related field.
• Experience in Technical writing and/or editing with strong proofreading skills, preferably in a systems integration or engineering environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) and Google Suite.
• Experience with document management tools
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability and desire to obtain a Top Secret clearance which requires US Citizenship.
Desired Skills:
• Preferred 2+ years of related technical writing and/or editing experience.
• Certification in technical writing, editing, or a related field is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Familiarity with systems integration concepts, technologies, and methodologies.
• Familiarity with collaboration tools, such as Teams, Confluence/Jira, and SharePoint
• Familiarity with style guides, such as AP, Chicago, or IEEE.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $46,700 - $89,500. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays.
