Overview of CT1 Senior SharePoint Developer & Administrator Position :
To evaluate the maintenance community's communication processes and recommend/build an information technology (IT) tools suite to support the flow of knowledge across all carrier maintenance stakeholders. They also analyze new technologies and looks for ways to enhance the IT infrastructure, as well as provides training to all users on the functionality of the Carrier Team One (CT1) IT Tools Suite. Functions as a CT1 SharePoint Web content manager to develop processes to improve the content and organization of the CT1 Portal.

CT1 Senior SharePoint Developer & Administrator Key Responsibilities :
• Support of the existing Microsoft SharePoint Online instance and development of new SharePoint applications.
• Assist with customer support and serves as a resource to the KSNs and organizations for SharePoint related issues to support the objectives of the Carrier Team One program.
• Provide daily maintenance of existing CT1 SharePoint Portal: Sites, Sub-Sites, list, libraries, custom forms, and workflows.
• Provide planning, designing, configuring, testing, and implementing of SharePoint solutions.
• Work closely with CT1 stakeholders to elicit and define website content requirements and translate business processes into meaningful business intelligence dashboards and other SharePoint management capabilities.
• Work with CT1 knowledge-sharing managers to develop meaningful metrics & monitor activities to produce trend analyses.
• Able to collect analytical data of the SharePoint Site Collection (trends, usage, storage, etc.).
• Work closely with the CT1 Knowledge Sharing Managers to document and organize the event data and content.
• Label, organize, and code files/content for filtering and tracking purposes.
• Creates CT1 Portal calendars, contact list, links, and other related components as needed.
• Serves as CT1 Portal Web Content Manager to develop processes to improve the content & organization of the CT1 Portal.
• Manage KSN SharePoint lists and libraries for standardization, accuracy, security, relevance, and volume.
• Be the overall lead for Microsoft SharePoint Online (SPO), Microsoft Teams, and Dataverse support for the CT1 Core Team.
• Shall update Microsoft SPO Out-of-the-box solutions, content types, web parts, search capabilities, group policies/user permission sets, cross-site functions of Microsoft SharePoint, and Microsoft SharePoint's term store.
• Provide daily maintenance of existing CT1 Portal, and develop and maintain codes used in Web Parts written in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and REST API.
• Maintain customized workflows using Power Automate, custom applications and forms using Power Apps, and custom dashboards using Power BI and custom applications developed within SharePoint Framework (SPFx).
• Collaborate with iNavy, PEO Digital, Flank Speed and Fleet Forces Database housing to provide feedback as well as ensure the CT1 Portal is aligned with any changes or updates needed.
• Maintain current and accurate information on the KSN pages of the CT1 Portal.
• Maintain ability to utilize the U-NNPI portal and all security restrictions in accordance with PEO Digital's requirements.

CT1 Senior SharePoint Developer & Administrator Skills and Capabilities :
• Expertise in Microsoft Enterprise Content Management and Collaboration technologies (SharePoint 2013, 2019 and SPO, SharePoint Flat Architecture, and redesign of InfoPath forms to Power Apps).
• Full knowledge of all SharePoint Online Out-of-the-Box solutions: content types, webparts, search capabilities, group policies/user permission sets and cross-site functions of Microsoft SharePoint, and term store.
• Full working knowledge of all Microsoft365 Applications (MS Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
• Full working knowledge of all Power Platform Applications (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Virtual Agents)
• Knowledge of ASP .NET and client web development (XML, XSL, ASP .NET, AJAX, HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, SOAP, REST, DataTables) and SharePoint Framework (SPFx).
• Experience with building and implementing dashboards
• Experience with Power Automate workflows and knowledge of workflow automation logic.
• Experience with Migration from SharePoint On-Prem to SharePoint Online via ShareGate
• Graphic design experience with Adobe CC Products: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign (Optional Desired Skill)

Degree and Experience Requirements :
• Master's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Technical Content Management and 7 years in SharePoint Design and Management -OR-
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Technical Content Management and 10 years SharePoint Design and Management.

  • A secret security clearance is required
