Your future duties and responsibilities
Design, develop, and manage cloud-based infrastructure and services on AWS.
Implement and manage continuous delivery systems and methodologies on AWS.
Work with application and architecture teams to conduct proof of concepts (POCs) and implement Production-grade solutions.
Ensure security best practices are followed in the implementation of cloud solutions.
Monitor and optimize the performance of cloud systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and services.
Develop and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
Automate deployment, monitoring, and management of cloud applications.
Collaborate with development teams to ensure applications are designed for the cloud.
Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines.
Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices.
Provide technical guidance and support to team members.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Active TS/SCI with Poly required
3+ years experience as an AWS Cloud Engineer or similar role.
Strong understanding of AWS services and architecture.
Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required:
AWS Certified Solutions Architect or similar certification.
Experience with other cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, Google Cloud).
Knowledge of DevOps practices and methodologies.
Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., CloudWatch, ELK Stack).

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and license and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $108,600.00 - $264,600.00.
