Job Title: Vice President of Sales

My client is seeking a dynamic and strategic Vice President of Sales to lead their sales team and drive revenue growth. This role is pivotal in shaping their sales strategies, particularly within the government sector, and requires a candidate with a proven track record in sales leadership. Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the sales team, focusing on hiring, training, and performance management to ensure peak productivity and morale.
Establish robust sales processes and methodologies to optimize efficiency and effectiveness, driving measurable results.
Create and implement aggressive strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets, fostering significant business growth.
Maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders, particularly within the Department of Defense and Federal agencies.
Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify new business opportunities and inform strategic decisions.
Collaborate with marketing and finance to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
What We’re Looking For:
Minimum of 10 years of sales experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Proven track record of driving revenue growth within the Department of Defense and Federal agencies.
Strong understanding of government procurement processes and regulations.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
Proficiency in sales forecasting and data analysis, along with experience using CRM software and sales performance tools.
