The Opportunity:
Are you ready to shape the future of intelligence systems? CACI is seeking a talented Technical Operator to join our team in Chantilly, VA. In this role, you'll be responsible for supporting efforts to develop technical solutions securing mobile SATCOM devices (such as VSAT modems or mobile SATCOM handset communication systems). You will architect solutions to support resilient cyber operations. The Technical Operator in this position supports all technical aspects focused on priority mission requirements. This includes but not limited to conducting technical debriefs, technical operations in support of cyber operations, briefings to management as necessary to Sponsor's mission. Responsibilities:
• Ability to travel CONUS and OCONUS to support mission requirements.
• Draft and coordinate formal correspondence on subject matters and technical operations while collaborating with partners.
• Understanding of satellite VSAT modem signaling.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation for processes and procedures related to technical projects.
• Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter and to integrate into a multi-discipline team and take a team-based approach to solving complex problems.

Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in a relevant field, with a minimum of 7 years' experience in a relevant technical field to the position.
• Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance, with required polygraph.
• Demonstrated expertise in designing, building, and testing of networks leveraging commercial telecommunications technologies.
• Expertise in cellular air-interface and network equipment; and knowledge of cellular network data packet flow from edge equipment through network core to the internet.
• Knowledge of computer network infrastructure devices (routers, switches, etc. and the application of those devices in mobile core enterprise networks.
• Experience with reading and interpreting commercial technical design and engineering documentation related to cellular mobile core technology.
• Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate complex mission critical ideas to audiences with varied technical and operational background, and at varying seniority levels of the Sponsor's organization.

Desired:
• Master's Degree (or equivalent experience) in a related field to the position.
• Experience testing, deploying and maintaining VSAT systems; experience and familiarity with Overhead SATCOM signals analysis and survey capabilities tools.
• Knowledge of SATCOM protocols and modulation types.
• Demonstrated technical expertise in computer and network operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux, OSX, Citrix etc.), hardware/network management tools, and protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, SMTP, TLS/SSL, etc.)

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$102,900 - $216,200
