ARPA-H - Generative AI and Health Technology Support
Amentum is looking for experienced personnel to expand our healthcare technology development support capabilities at the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H).
Founded in 2022, ARPA-H is a Federal research funding agency that supports transformative biomedical and health breakthroughs - ranging from the molecular to the societal - to provide health solutions for all. ARPA-H advances high-potential, high-impact biomedical and health research that cannot be readily accomplished through traditional research or commercial activity to develop solutions to society's most challenging health problems.

We are seeking talented individuals for the following roles:
- Generative AI Developer: Develop and implement cutting-edge generative AI models for healthcare applications.
- Software Developer: Design, develop, and deploy software solutions for health technology projects.
- AI/ML Engineer: Build and deploy AI/ML models to address critical challenges in healthcare.
- AI/ML Policy & Strategy Specialist: Contribute to the development and implementation of AI/ML policies and strategies within the healthcare sector.
Responsibilities (depending on the specific role):
- Develop and implement generative AI models, software solutions, or AI/ML models for healthcare applications
- Contribute to the development and implementation of AI/ML policies and strategies
- Collaborate with government and industry partners to advance health technology initiatives
- Provide technical expertise and support to ARPA-H programs
- Analyze data, conduct research, and present findings
Minimum Requirements:
- Master's degree in Biomedical Informatics or a related field
- 8+ years of relevant experience
- Experience in software development and new product development
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust US Government Clearance.
Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
Highly Desired Attributes:
- Experience in generative AI or bioinformatics
- ARPA-H, NIH, or other federal grant program experience
- Experience as a Principal Investigator in a research study
- Expertise in the acquisition of new programs, solicitations, and contracting actions\
- Other ARPA agency (DARPA, IARPA, ARPA-E, etc.) experience
- National Institute of Health (NIH), Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), or Department of Defense (DoD) experience
- Experience in a R&D environment
