The Opportunity:
A well-designed network is critical to move data and enable the Army and DoD to achieve its mission, but how can an organization make sure its network will fit their current and evolving needs? Crafting the right network with the right equipment and sof tware requires a combination of te chn ical skill and careful planning. That's why we need you, a network engineer who knows how to craft the exact network the Army needs.
As a Network Engineer on our team, you'll help the Army design and build a reliable network to support critical missions. You'll work with SMEs, customers, and users to learn the strategic goals and operational needs that shape the network requirements. You'll then plan the acquisition, installation, configuration, and maintenance of the network components. From resolving interoperability issues across platforms to supporting hardware acquisition, you'll put your hardware and sof tware talents to good use. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.

You Have:
- 5+ years of experience as a network engineer
- Experience with Voice over Internet Protocol
- Experience with routing protocols
- Experience with network protocol analysis
- Experience with VMware
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree
Nice If You Have:
- Experience with commer cia l communications equipment
- Experience with engineering design, development, integration, installation, operation, and maintenance
- Knowledge of radio-frequency engineering, tactical communication systems, or program management
- Knowledge of Security Te chn ical Implementation Guides ( STIGs )
- Cisco Certified Network Asso cia te Certification
