Logistics Specialist

The Opportunity:

As a logistics manager, you know that every program relies on clearly defined management processes to work. You understand government systems and know that using tools and sof tware is critical to ensuring the integrity of the mission. We're looking for a logistics engineer like you to apply your engineering and process improvement expertise to develop tools for a virtual training center . Using your knowledge in lifecycle management, you'll help coordinate all system elements and ensure long-lasting integration and sustainment.

As a logistics engineer on the team, you'll provide expertise in identifying the root cause of technical support inefficiencies. You'll use your findings to create a path forward that meets design requirements and ensures functionality. Your experience with configuration management is essential to ensuring quality when designing mission-critical solutions. In this role, you'll use your engineering logistics and materials expertise to contribute to the safety of the warfighter. You'll partner with senior team members and apply your skills in root-cause analysis and process improvement resolution. Use your curiosity and solution-oriented mindset to lead mission-critical infrastructure support for emerging virtual training systems.

You Have:

  • Experience developing complex worldwide operations support plans
  • Knowledge of project management and effective methods to plan, organize, analyze, and forecast workforce, training, and supply requirements
  • Ability to identify issues with program requirements and solutions to potential problem areas through assessment and analysis
  • TS / SCI clearance
  • Master's degree in Project Management
  • Project Management Professional Certification


Nice If You Have:

  • Experience coordinating with vendors to ensure that hardware and external resources necessary to complete tasks are available
  • Knowledge of the FLIPL process
  • Ability to establish baselines and change control for c ond ucting configuration audits, status accounting, and reviews on hardware and sof tware


Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,700.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
