Job Description
HII-Mission Technologies is seeking a Senior Project Manager.
The ideal candidate has a solid program management background with specific strengths in decision-making, customer relationships and coordination, technical requirements definition, and rapid solutions involving multiple groups/organizations. This position will work closely with external organizations and stakeholders to rapidly build up test capabilities. This individual must be able to work with technical experts to define requirements and manage resources efficiently to include subcontractors.
This position is integral to Air Combat Command's Electromagnetic Warfare (EW) and Spectrum Superiority plans, programs and requirements team. EW is an A589 priority and related efforts are aligned to the Great Power Competition and efforts to field a "data-driven, risk-informed" forces.
Essential Job Responsibilities
Responsible for gaining sponsor and corporate advocacy for large, complex programs. Directs all phases of programs from inception through completion. Responsible for serving multiple customers requiring developing and managing plans across several subcontractors. Responsible for overseeing a program contained at one primary geographic location however covering remote locations and multiple business functions and employees directly assigned to program. Program may require new technologies. Responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of company programs. Acts as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance. Develops new business or expands services with the customer. Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications. Directs the work of employees including management level assigned to the program from technical, manufacturing and administrative areas.
Minimum Qualifications
8 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelors in related field; 6 years relevant progressive experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 12 years relevant progressive experience.
Preferred Requirements
Operational EW/EMSO experience
Physical Requirements
Job performance may require working in an industrial or shipboard environment. Normally not required to lift more than 40 pounds higher than three feet above feet/floor level.

- Extensive experience working with technical experts to define requirements in order to advance capability development
- Successful demonstration of technical and programmatic risk identification and mitigation
- Proven demonstration of the ability to identify the sufficient level of detail needed to make significant program decisions and quantify and communicate that rationale to stakeholders
- Tireless focus on the mission and making capabilities development a reality
- Strong operations, acquisition, and test background: understanding operations vernacular, acquisition process, and test environment and controls to communicate across communities
- Innovative and strategic mindset to identify future capabilities and requirements that can/should be integrated into near-term solutions

- Helps provide sponsor to establish solid lines of communication and a battle rhythm for "CSFD Performance Reviews" in order to better understand current efforts, enhance operational analysis of F-35 data, and align efforts to enterprise tools and needs where applicable
