What does this role look like?

As a Field Engineer you will be supporting the Depot and field maintenance for the re-entry system/re-entry vehicles for the Minuteman III missile.

Key activities you will accomplish in this role:

• Represent the Lockheed Martin Strategic Reentry organization as local on-site representative to customer's organization, providing real-time technical assistance, flight test support, Technical Order support, plus supply chain support to Hill AFB MMIII Reentry System Reentry Vehicle (RSRV) Integrated Program Teams (IPT) / Working group Leads.
• Supply engineering & technical support concerning the inspection, assessments, maintenance, repair activities for RSRV assets, support equipment, plus trainers utilized at the DEPOT and field sites.

To be effective in this role, you will need:

• 5+ years of professional experience with a Bachelor's; or 3+ years of professional experience with a Master's degree.
• Must have an active DoD Secret clearance, thus you are a US Citizen.

Basic Qualifications:
• MMIII Reentry System experience, familiar with ICBM Flight Test hardware/processes, Air Force regulations, inspection/testing of RSRV components.
• Must have an active DoD Secret clearance, thus you are a US Citizen.
Desired Skills:
• MMIII Reentry Systems experience.
• Knowledge of Munitions/Ordnance handling and tracking programs.
• Awareness of HAZMAT shipping constraints.
• Understanding of MS Office & MS Teams.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
