Description:
The mission of the Lone Wolf program is to support, operate, and maintain the Distributed Continuity Integrated Network – Top Secret Enterprise Services (DCIN-TS ES) which is a DoD-provided, TS/SCI, integrated voice, video, and data, global communications network that facilitates collaboration among senior leaders and key staff. The Lone Wolf program boasts a professional workforce comprised of specialists throughout the Information Technology lifecycle and who contribute to a positive work environment.

Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Senior Systems Administrator include, but are not limited to, the following:
Provide technical/management-level leadership on major tasks or technology assignments.
Manage the functionality and efficiency of a transportable IT solution at multiple locations.
Develop, track, revise, and monitor policies and standards for allocation related to the use of IT and computing resources and assure and sustain the integrity and security of network infrastructure.
Diagnose and solve customer issues, establish and repair customer accounts and systems, and find ways to improve support procedures.
Assist end-users through Email, Phone, and Remote correspondence.
Respond to requests as well as conduct, track, and report network systems and hardware accountability and material destruction.
Manage the deployment of mobile kits and ensure end users have reliable network connectivity.
Manage the configuration and operation of information management systems over mobile platforms.
Establish and maintain comprehensive knowledge of the organization’s hardware, software, and network components in addition to knowledge of programming languages and operating systems, current equipment and technologies in use, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, and system performance monitoring tools.
Assist in the development, documentation, exercising, and auditing of standard operation procedures (SOP’s).
Responsible for the integration of a network including assisting in the planning, design, installation, maintenance, management, and coordination of the corporate LAN/WAN.
Updating, keying, configuring, and establishing connectivity of COMSEC devices.
Utilize tools/utilities to provide remote technical support services on equipment.
Maintain written documentation of incidents and escalate issues to the appropriate level of support as required by documented policies and procedures.
Patch and maintain systems.
Deploy software through use of technologies such as MECM.
Conduct remote imaging and configurations of geographically separated systems.
Provide advice and training to end-users, and guide and inform senior leadership.
Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
Participate in special projects as required.
Requirements:
Must be a self-starter who can take senior-leader guidance and intent, and oversee the operations of independent and collaborative assigned projects
Ability to work well in a team and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience with Citrix, VMware/VDI, Active Directory, MECM, PowerShell, Command Prompt, and Remote Desktop Services.
Knowledge of network protocols and configuration.
Experience with data protection and disaster recovery solutions.
Proven experience in recommending solutions that improve customer satisfaction and/or the mission of the customer.
Must be able to work a 40-hour work week, normally Monday through Friday
Ability to work overtime during critical peaks and be available to meet last-minute requests for overtime if needed
Ability to travel (25%).
Familiarity with MS Office applications such as Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint, Project and Visio
Exceptional attention to detail; excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong critical thinking, organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills
Clearance Required:
Must have active Top-Secret clearance with SCI or TS with the ability to acquire SCI
Minimum Education:
High School Diploma
Minimum Years of Experience:
At least 10 years of relevant experience is required
Required Certifications:
Ability to meet or exceed DODD 8140/8570 IAT Level II Requirements, to include CE certification
Must be DoD 8570.01-M compliant, IAT II (CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+, or SSCP)
Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree in IT related field
Microsoft Certified Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate
Current MCSA or Azure Administrator Associate certification
Experience with ServiceNow
Experience with ITIL
Demonstrated experience in analysis simulation environments, configuring and troubleshooting software/hardware enhancements, application deployments, and infrastructure upgrades in a dynamic information systems-hosting environment.
Demonstrated experience with client-side hardware and network-side hardware installation.
Termination of network cables (Copper/Fiber).
Experience with a variety of COMSEC devices, CISCO routing and switching equipment, CISCO VoIP, CISCO VTC, Networked Printers, PC Imaging, Windows OS, and PC hardware needed.
