Procurement/Licensing Analyst

Piper Companies is currently seeking a skilled Procurement/Licensing Analyst to support technologically driven team in a hybrid capacity based in Aberdeen, MD.

Responsibilities for Procurement/Licensing Analyst include:

• Assist with capturing SW license requirements for annual procurement and workflow automation within ServiceNow or similar platforms
• Collaborate with PMs to streamline the documentation and tracking of HW/SW assets
• Assist in developing and maintaining configuration management databases, ensuring data integrity. Provide configuration management engineering in multiple CS component area for C5ISR systems
• Apply data analysis skills to identify opportunities for improving data structures and integration processes.
• Scrutinize a data set; identify and evaluate data anomalies, missing data, what doesn't add up and complete data refinement
• Develop business process workflows; develop and implement a comprehensive roadmap outlining the evolution and enhancement of configuration management capabilities
• Participate in Configuration Control Boards and other relevant forums

Qualifications for Procurement/Licensing Analyst include:

• BA/BS from an accredited college or university preferred Engineering or Computer Science and 5 years of experience performing similar duties in a DoD environment; will consider additional experience in lieu of education
• Must hold Secret clearance
• MS Excel experience mid/ advanced level
• Excellent Communication skills
• Detail oriented
• Can work independently
• Must be able to lift and move up to 20 pounds

Compensation for Procurement/Licensing Analyst includes:

• Salary Range: $80,000 to $110,000 **depending on experience*
