Agile Project Manager

Piper Companies is currently seeking a skilled Agile Project Manager to support a technologically driven team in a remote capacity based in Washington, DC.

Responsibilities for Agile Project Manager include:

• Lead and manage projects in a big data environment using Agile project management methodologies.
• Oversee release train management and ensure seamless delivery of projects.
• Create, manage, and maintain Agile artifacts, including user stories, backlogs, and sprint plans.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and Scrum Masters to ensure project alignment with business objectives.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Foster a thriving and fast-paced work environment that encourages collaboration and innovation.
• Provide regular status updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders.

Qualifications for Agile Project Manager include:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in project management, particularly in big data environments within an enterprise setting.
• Strong knowledge of Agile project management methodologies, including Scrum.
• Proficiency in release train management and Agile artifacts.
• Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in an exciting and fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Certifications: PMP certification (preferred), Agile certifications (a plus).

· Technical Skills: Familiarity with big data technologies and tools.

· Industry Experience: Previous experience in [your industry] or similar environments

Compensation for Agile Project Manager includes:

• Salary Range: $125,000- $135,000**depending on experience*
