A TEKsystems customer is seeking a ERP Test Engineer with an Active Secret Clearance to work on site in New Orleans. This ERP Test Engineer would be apart of the Personnel Modernization (PersMod) team. As part of a mission-critical program supporting the United States Navy Pay and Personnel System, you'll play a pivotal role in testing, troubleshooting, and developing systems that ensure operational excellence.
As a Test Engineer, you will:
-Collaborate with developers, system analysts, and test team members to develop and maintain test documentation and test cases.
-Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of test processes and diagnostic programs.
-Create, update, and maintain a Master Test Plan to streamline and enhance testing operations.
-Develop and document test processes and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Daily Responsibilities:
-Participate in testing, troubleshooting, and analysis throughout the development lifecycle.
-Provide critical support in maintaining test processes that align with program goals.
-Work to ensure system reliability and seamless integration for the Navy's pay and personnel systems.
Required Qualifications:
-Bachelor's Degree (3 years of additional relevant experience may substitute for a degree).
-3+ years of related experience (or 1+ year with a Master's Degree).
-Familiarity with PeopleSoft.
-Knowledge and experience with Navy Pay systems and DoD systems.
-Must either possess or be able to obtain an Interim Secret Clearance prior to the start date.
Desired Skills and Experience:
-Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science is highly preferred.
-Experience with Oracle PL/SQL scripting and tools is highly desired.
-Familiarity with tools such as Microsoft Teams, Application Lifecycle Management Quality Center, Phire, Naval-Lift Jira, and Zephyr.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $95000.00/yr.
