Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt to lead and mentor teams in the implementation of Lean Six Sigma methodologies to drive operational excellence and improve business processes. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leading complex projects, developing and implementing process improvements, and Training/mentoring Master Black Belts, Black Belts and Green Belts
Lead and Mentor: Lead and mentor Master Black Belts, Black Belts and Green Belts in the implementation of Lean Six Sigma projects, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project execution.
Develop and Implement Process Improvements: Develop and implement process improvements using Lean Six Sigma methodologies, resulting in significant cost savings, productivity gains, and quality improvements.
Project Selection and Prioritization: Select and prioritize projects based on business objectives, using data-driven decision-making and collaboration with stakeholders.
Training and Development: Develop and deliver training programs for Master Black Belts, Black Belts, Green Belts, Lean Practitioner, Lean Leaders and other stakeholders to ensure a strong understanding of Lean Six Sigma methodologies and tools.
Coaching and Mentoring: Provide coaching and mentoring to Master Black Belts, Black Belts and Green Belts to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to lead and execute projects successfully.
Metrics and Reporting: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of Lean Six Sigma projects and report progress to senior leadership.
Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, quality, and IT, to ensure seamless integration of Lean Six Sigma initiatives.
Stakeholder Management: Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate project progress and results to senior leadership and other stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement: Continuously improve Lean Six Sigma methodologies and tools to ensure they remain relevant and effective in driving business results.
Certification and Compliance: Maintain certification as a Lean / Six Sigma Master Black Belt and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Change Management and Gap Identification: Become a change agent for the business and the function, while using data analysis to drive toward defect reduction in support of the business objectives.
Facilitation: Serve as a facilitator for Kaizens, cross functional teams, and report outs to the leadership team.
Knowledge of Adult learning theory: Creation of Instructional design materials while possessing knowledge of how adults learn, kinesthetic learning exercises, remote and in-person training differences and opportunities.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $169782 - $297118
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor's degree
- Lean / Six Sigma Master Black Belt certification from a recognized leader in the industry
- Experience in a Lean / Six Sigma leadership role
- Experience in a Lean Six Sigma training and developing all levels White through and including Master Black Belts
- Proven track record of leading complex projects and driving business results
- Very strong understanding of Lean Six Sigma methodologies and tools
- Excellent communication, coaching, and mentoring skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with data analysis and statistical process control
- Strong understanding of Lean principles and tools, including Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen events, and Root Cause Analysis.
- Ability to analyze data and identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Clearance preferred, or the ability to obtain clearance status
- Extensive proficiency with statistical and Mathematics
- Strong proficiency with statistical software such as Minitab, JMP, SigmaXL, etc.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or Master's degree in a Engineering
- Lean / Six Sigma Master Black Belt certification from a recognized leader in the industry
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a Lean / Six Sigma leadership role
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a Lean Six Sigma training and developing all levels White through and including Master Black Belts
- Knowledge of Mathematics
- Experience with project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project,...)
Pay Information
