Duties

  • Supports of the installations management program by assisting the Master Planner. Ensures that the state meets Department of Defense (DoD), Army, and state standards for master planning.
  • Researches, drafts, maintains, and coordinates the state's Military Construction (MILCON), UMI, and Facility Program (FP) program documents.
  • Assists in the development, maintenance and updating of ARNG Energy Programs. Identifies possible energy conservation measures and promotes the use of Energy Conservation Programs (ECP), and Energy Conservation Savings Programs (ECSP).
  • Assists the Realty Officer (RO) in the management of ARNG real property; in the acquisition, management, and termination of real property interests.
  • Ensures work is in compliance with governing federal, state and local laws and ARNG policies, procedures and guidelines.

Qualifications

MILITARY GRADES: E4 THROUGH E7

COMPATIBLE MILITARY ASSIGNMENTS: 12B, 12K, 12H, 12N, 12R, 12T, 12W, 12Y, 42A, 92Y

The policy to have a compatible MOS/AFSC has been suspended. When reinstated, you will have one year to meet the qualifications of this position or meet the requirements in the guidance set by NGB.

GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience, education, or training which has provided the applicant with a knowledge of equipment maintenance work, or skill in reading engineering drawings and specifications, using test instruments, making computations, and keeping records. Experience using computer and automation systems.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: At least 24 months experience, education, or training which demonstrates the knowledge of, and skill in applying, principles, concepts, and methods of equipment, facility, or service operations sufficient to design projects that have applicable precedents or plan approaches to perform assignments using well-established occupational methods, techniques, processes, and precedents. 1 year equivalent to at least GS-7, the next lower grade level.

The Human Resources Officer (HRO) is the final approval for all ETP waivers. If approved, the memorandum will be returned to you and then submitted with your application.

Education

You may combine education with specialized experience to meet the length of experience requirement for GS-09. Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work. Courses must be at the graduate level.

To receive credit for Education, you must provide transcripts or documentation of proof that you meet the Education requirements for this position.
