Powder River is seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled QA Testing Engineer to join our team. The QA Testing Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through meticulous testing and validation processes. This role requires an individual with a strong understanding of software development and testing methodologies, testing frameworks, testing automation, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with different teams.

Requirements
- Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on product requirements and specifications.
- Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts to ensure thorough coverage of functional and non-functional requirements.
- Build out automated tests, including functional, regression, integration, performance, and stress testing.
- Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand product requirements and provide feedback on design and implementation.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance product quality and efficiency.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of software development and testing methodologies, testing frameworks, testing automation, excellent problem-solving skills
- Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with different teams.
- Verifying this - Certifications: Relevant certifications in cybersecurity and IT (e.g., CompTIA Security+).
- Verifying this - RHEL / Windows experience
Non-Negotiable Requirements: REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 3+ years of experience
- Experience working in a DoD IT environment
- ServiceNow experience preferred
REQUIRED CLEARANCE:
- Active Secret clearance
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:
- Verifying this - Position requires 8570 IAT II certification (e.g. Security+)
