About The Role
Peraton is seeking Wireless Network Administrators to support the Special Operations Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) - 3. These positions are located at SOCOM Headquarters at MacDill AFB, FL, as well as at TSOC and Component locations in the United States and abroad.
About SITEC 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM)
The SITEC 3 EOM Task Order (TO) provides USSOCOM, its Component Commands, Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), and deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services. This includes:
Wireless Network Administrator Responsibilities:
Wireless Network Administrators provide Tier 3 wireless network support in alignment with SIE OPORD. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with expertise in wired and wireless network technologies.

Target Salary Range: $80,000 - $128,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.

- Network Operations (NetOps) maintenance
- Systems and network infrastructure support
- End-user and common device support
- Configuration, change, license, and asset management
- Training
- Install, Move, Add, and Change (IMACs) services
Wireless Network Administrator Responsibilities:
Wireless Network Administrators provide Tier 3 wireless network support in alignment with SIE OPORD. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with expertise in wired and wireless network technologies.
Key Duties:
- Plan, design, and implement wireless networks, defining engineering specifications and resource requirements for network hardware/software
- Perform systems engineering, design, analysis, and maintenance of wireless and wired networks
- Recommend wireless network optimization, additions, and upgrades to meet Government requirements
- Conduct and document radio frequency (RF) coverage and site surveys
- Document network infrastructure and design
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of wireless equipment, standards, protocols, and security
- Experience in wireless local area network (WLAN) design
- Effective communication skills (written and verbal) to collaborate with technicians, vendors, and managers
- Demonstrated leadership and customer interaction skills

Qualifications
- Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma with 9+ years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree with 5 years of relevant experience
- Master's degree with 3 years of relevant experience
- Security Clearance:
- Active DoD TS/SCI clearance
- Certifications:
- CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) or CCWA (Certified Wireless Analysis Professional) certification is required.
- Must hold a DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II certification.
