Mayvin is seeking an Engineer to support the United States Navy and NAVSEA Headquarters at the Navy Yard in Washington DC.
Clearance Required: Possess a Secret security clearance.
Responsibilities:
Engineers apply the theories and principles of science and mathematics to research and develop economical solutions to technical problems. Their work is the link between perceived social needs and commercial applications. Engineers design products, machinery, implement improved ways to extract, process, and use raw materials, such as petroleum and natural gas, develop new materials that both improve the performance of products and take advantage of advances in technology. Engineers analyze the impact of the products they develop or the systems they design on the environment and on the people using them. In addition to design and development, many engineers work in testing, production, or maintenance by supervising production in factories, determining the causes of breakdowns, and the testing of manufactured products to maintain quality. They also estimate the time and cost to complete projects.

Required Qualifications and Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- 5 or more years of relevant experience
Desired Qualifications and Certifications:
- 10 or more years of qualifying experience
- Master of Science degree in a recognized engineering, scientific, mathematics, or technical discipline from an accredited college or university
- Experience in performing engineering analysis, technical program management, and system level program assessments of progressively complex programs and systems of a technical nature with at least half of the years of experience in engineering and technical program management of government contracts involving supervision of technical, engineering, and administrative personnel to complete tasks relating to the design, development, integration and delivery of complex systems for program areas such as Counter Radio Electronic Warfare (CREW), Joint Explosive Ordnance Disposal (JEOD), Underwater Explosive Ordnance Disposal (UWEOD), Expeditionary Medical (ExMed), and Anti-Terrorism Afloat (ATA
