Senior Financial Analyst

Mayvin is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support the United States Navy and NAVSEA Headquarters at the Navy Yard in Washington DC.

Clearance Required: Possess a secret security clearance.

Required Qualifications and Certifications:

• Undergraduate degree or 8 years in Government financial management
• Expert working knowledge of the Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS)/ Wide Area Workflow (WAWF)/ Mechanization of Contract Administration Services (MOCAS) accounting and disbursing systems
• Sound working knowledge of Navy program and budget processes
• Expert working knowledge of managing obligation and expense rates to ensure compliance with OSD targets
• Demonstrated working experience developing and managing yearly spend plans
• Demonstrated working experience developing POM/BES inputs
• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office products/services; Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Desired Qualifications:

• Graduate degree in business or financial management related discipline
• Demonstrated work experience as a senior financial analyst within the NAVSEA Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)/ DoD Contracting environment; preferably as a Business Financial Manager (BFM) or as a contract support analyst to a NAVSEA BFM supporting a MPM's office
