HOW A SYSTEMS ENGINEER SENIOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

• Provide automation and increased efficiency to a user base with high operational tempo
• Gathering and documenting business requirements, day-to-day coordination and administration of tasks
• Ensures quality and productivity standards are maintained while meeting customer schedules
• Establish and maintain an effective and collaborative relationship with customers, end users and other team members
• Contributes to the completion of major engineering projects
• Develops solutions to a variety of highly complex engineering problems of advanced scope and complexity
• Prepares and maintains a wide range of documentation for processes and procedures related to engineering projects
• Maintains current knowledge of rapidly changing technology and works with management to evolve current processes
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with other technical teams and explain complex technical concept
• Prepares technical writing and/or technical documentation

Required Technical Skills:

• Familiarity with storage technologies like SAN, NAS, object storage, and vSAN and associated management tools
• Knowledge of basic storage concepts, archive, data backup, and recovery strategies
• Understanding of network protocols and data management concepts

Preferred Skills:

• Strong understanding of Windows/Linux OS/file systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex storage issues
• Scripting and automation skills for managing storage tasks efficiently

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

• Education: BA/BS Degree (or equivalent experience)
• DoD 8570 compliant for IAT Level II
• Required Experience: 2+ years of related experience.

• Required Technical Skills:

• Strong experience with storage, backup, and archive solutions

• Location: On Customer Site

• Clearance: Must have fully adjudicated TS/SCI (Required)

• US Citizenship Required
