WE ARE A SMALL DIVISION OF GREENWAY IN THE ASHBURN VA AREA. WE ARE LOOKING FOR ELECTRICIAN'S FOR LOCAL WORK IN THE NORTHERN VIRGINIA AREA ONLY.

DUTIES MAY INCLUDE:
• Running electrical circuits required by drawings and specifications
• Determine condition of electrical equipment, troubleshoot malfunctions, identify hazards, and determine needed repairs based on job specifications and local codes.
• Responsible for safe installations, alterations, additions, and/or repairs of electrical systems, associated materials, and equipment within the material handling industry
• Perform I/O checkout of completed system insuring it matches the engineering drawings and documenting any changes
• Accountable for the on-site supervision of assigned electrical installers in such a way to ensure scheduled completion of projects within established budget, time frame, quality and performance standards. Ability to evaluate progress against goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned or needed.
• Provide support during the commissioning process.
• Identify the materials and quantities needed for new and repair projects.
• Evaluate customer requests and provide work order descriptions.
• Operate with safety as a primary concern for self, fellow employees, and customers
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs; able to push, pull, carry and maneuver heavier items (with additional manpower/tools as necessary); able to climb ladders; work from heights and work in confined areas
• Demonstrated Leadership skills with the ability to face challenges, solve problems and motivate the team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, management & organization skills.
• Capable of bending Rigid and EMT pipe and building raceways.
• Capable of pulling cable for power, low voltage, ethernet and fiber.
• Termination testing and excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Capable of reading and understanding, drawings, cable schedules, electrical schematics and Single line drawings\
• Journeyman Electrician License preferred
• OSHA 30 Certification preferred
*Pay is based on experience*
Job Type: Full-time
Travel Internationally: Possibly a 1 week job every month
Pay: $40.00 - $73.00 per hour
