Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting/Office manager to oversee our general operations and ensure the accuracy of our financial reporting. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, as well as experience in managing people and the office. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to communicate effectively with various team members.
Duties:
• Manage and oversee all aspects of the accounting department, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger activities.
• Conduct account analysis and balance sheet reconciliation to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide insights on financial concepts and technical accounting matters.
• Stay informed about securities law and regulatory changes that may impact the organization’s financial practices.
• Utilize financial software from “Spectrum” or “Trimble” for efficient processing and reporting of financial data.
• Maintain all aspects of the office
• Maintain all HR records for 75 employee’s
• Perform payroll weekly.
• Manage entire team of office staff as well as field personnel IN PAYCHEX.
Requirements
• Proven experience as an Accounting Manager or similar role,
• Proficiency in account analysis, debits/credits management, balance sheet reconciliation, and financial auditing processes.
• Familiarity with SPECTRUM ACCOUNTING SOFTWARE & PAYCHEX
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
• Proficient in using various financial software applications for reporting and analysis.
Range of Pay:
$90,000 - $120,000
