The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) organization is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead Survivability risk reduction efforts in support of a Phantom Works portfolio program located on the St Louis site in Berkeley, MO.
As the Survivability Risk Reduction Manager, you will report to the program's Survivability senior manager and lead a team of engineers responsible for identification and mitigation of survivability related risks. You will be responsible for managing the staffing, budgets and work scope associated with the identification and management of survivability related risk reduction activities.
The successful candidate will oversee a team of highly skilled engineers, coordinate across multi-disciplined engineering IPTs, work with manufacturing to design and build test articles and oversee RCS range testing. Position Responsibilities:
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.
This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (US Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)

- Provides engineering oversight of technical approaches, products, and processes.
- Manages program risk reduction schedules, budgets and personnel
- Supports the program's Survivability Senior Manager
- Manages, develops, and motivates employees.

Basic/Required Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Minimum technical bachelor's degree in a technical field (engineering, mathematics, physics, etc)
- Understanding of Low Observables principles
- Active Secret Security Clearance with ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance and Special Access Program (SAP) access
- 8+ years of experience in an advanced engineering role(s)
- Strong project management skills
- 5+ years of experience in a SAP environment
- 5+ years of experience leading a team of high performing engineers and scientists
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 10+ years of experience in low observables, radio frequency or infrared system design, and/or survivability technology development
- Advanced Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics
- Active Top Secret Security Clearance
- LO Development Experience (design, modeling, testing, etc)
- Familiarlity with EVM and CAM processes and responsibilities.
