Your Role: As a Linux Administrator, you will design, implement, and manage lab infrastructure to meet customer requirements. You'll work on building, configuring, administering, and troubleshooting Linux servers and NetApp Storage hardware and software. You'll also design and implement workgroup-scale networks and manage authentication, file-sharing, and collaboration servers supporting heterogeneous client systems. Collaborate with cybersecurity staff to ensure systems meet ICD-503 security controls and other customer standards. Document system configurations for new and existing systems. Experience with centralized authentication technologies like LDAP and Active Directory is desirable.

Your Role: As a Linux Administrator, you will design, implement, and manage lab infrastructure to meet customer requirements. Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and develop all infrastructure technology to ensure necessary uptime service.
- Engineer systems administration-related solutions for various operational and project needs.
- Apply best practices for managing systems and services across all environments.
- Analyze and log information to resolve performance exceptions.
- Manage software upgrades, patches, and hot fixes on servers, workstations, storage, and network hardware.
- Create and modify scripts or applications to perform tasks.
- Provide input to improve stability, security, efficiency, and scalability.
- Monitor system performance and conduct capacity planning.
- Collaborate with teams to develop automation strategies and deployment processes.
Qualifications:
- Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Security+ Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of hiring.
- Knowledge of operating systems, storage technologies, and peripherals.
- 5 years of experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux administration.
- Experience integrating Linux with Windows Active Directory.
- Familiarity with VMWare and virtualization concepts.
- Shell, Perl, and/or PowerCLI/PowerShell scripting skills.
- Solid knowledge of DNS and LDAP protocols.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills for diverse audiences.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with YUM or DNF and RedHat Satellite.
- Knowledge of Ansible modules and Trellix Anti-Virus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- NetApp Cluster administration experience.
- Experience with NetBackup or other backup technologies.
- Experience with implementing Ansible modules and configuration management with Git.
- Experience administering enterprise-level Windows Server environments, including Windows Active Directory, Group Policy Management, DNS, and DHCP.
