SIS is seeking an experienced Audio Visual Technician to support the Air Force Onsite at Warner Robins AFB, GA.
Primary Duties:
• Works as part of a team to install and maintain video teleconferencing and audio-visual equipment.
• Responsible for customer service and support, onsite hardware repair, AV/VTC equipment installation, asset management, update firmware and software, Tier 2 issue resolution, performing preventative maintenance, working according to project schedules, and housekeeping and general cleanliness of satellite office.
• Provide Tier 2 helpdesk support for issues that cannot be resolved remotely or over the phone.
Secondary Duties:
• Equipment inventory, conduct preventative maintenance, maintain documentation, and updating software/firmware on AV/VTC equipment.
• Provide after-hours phone support on a rotating basis.
• May occasionally provide short-term support at other US Locations.
Education / Experience:
• 2+ years performing hardware installations for audio visual equipment (e.g., projectors, monitors, televisions, video walls, codecs, sound systems, cameras, speakers, processors, amplifiers, mics, and associated gear, etc.).
• Must be able to independently install equipment according to drawings and schematics.
• Must be able to operate hand tools and terminate cables.
• Must be able to read wiring diagrams, Visio drawings, and schematics.
• Must be able to interact with military and government personnel in a professional manner.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs and to stand for long periods of time.
• CTS or CCNA or any industry certifications would be a plus (i.e., Polycom, Cisco, AMX, Crestron etc.).
• Experience with classified communications a plus.
• High School diploma.
• Must be able to pass a criminal and credit background check, Secret Security Clearance is preferred.
• US Citizenship is mandatory.
