Responsibilities of the Strategic Communications Readiness Consultant
EDC Consulting LLC (EDC) i s seeking a Strategic Communications Consultant to support complex deliverables across multiple workstreams for the PACAF Air Force Civil Engineer portfolio. This role focuses on developing strategic communication products, facilitating key meetings, and providing leadership with critical updates to enhance business transformation initiatives. The consultant will analyze and communicate Air Force enterprise contingency and installation sustainment operations, aligning with the Air Force Chief of Staff (CSAF) Combat Readiness Initiatives in the Pacific Air Forces (PACAF).

The Strategic Communications Readiness Consultant will:

• Provide detailed updates to leadership and stakeholders, participating in and facilitating meetings, forums, working groups, committees, panels, boards, and sub-panels.
• Coordinate, consolidate, develop, and deliver meeting materials and presentations to support Air Force leadership initiatives.
• Dissect, analyze, and communicate strategic documentation impacting Air Force enterprise contingency planning and installation sustainment operations.
• Support business transformation and strategic communications efforts for the directorate.
• Conduct market research and data collection focused on Air Force readiness and sustainment strategies.
• Develop and execute strategic communication plans to effectively convey mission-critical initiatives to key stakeholders.
• Analyze force presentation models, operational campaigns, and Air Force readiness to provide recommendations to leadership.
• Assist in strategy and policy development to support priorities and improve organizational alignment.
• Produce clear, concise, and compelling written and verbal communications for both internal and external audiences.

Qualifications:

• Must be local to Hawaii, with hybrid work schedule requiring in-person work at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam (JBPHH).
• 3+ years of experience working within DoD, PACAF, or Headquarters Air Force environments.
• Strong ability to analyze, deconstruct, and communicate complex problems effectively.
• Experience with market research and data collection focused on Air Force readiness.
• Expertise in strategy and policy development within the DoD or Air Force operational space.
• Proficiency in analyzing force presentation, communicating operational campaigns, and assessing Air Force readiness for client environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to develop high-impact briefings and reports.
• Active DOD Security Clearance
