Job Description
Responsible for analyzing and directing IT related activities of the organization/program with managerial responsibilities for assigned direct reports. Accountable for ensuring continuity of computer, network, and application services for users throughout the organization and customers’ external to the organization through planning, technical leadership, and project coordination and management.
Provides adequate and appropriate planning for hardware and communications for NSA facilities.
Documents engineering plans and site installation technical design packages.
Coordinates analysis, acquisition and installation of hardware and software.
Manages those resources engaged in facility additions, moves or changes including analysis, telecommunications (LAN, WAN, voice, video) planning, cabling, IT requirements, etc.
Performs site surveys.
Assesses and documents current site network configuration and user requirements.
Develop and maintain deployment plans for software and hardware.(U) Coordinate with development and quality assurance teams to ensure that the software and hardware meets all requirement.
Ensure That deployments are executed on time and with minimal disruption to users.
Monitor the system during and after deployment to ensure that it is functioning properly.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the deployment process.
Communicate with all stakeholders regarding the status of the deployment.
Continuously improve the deployment process, identifying and mitigating risks.
Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor’s Degree in a Computer Science or Math related field and five (5) years experience in deployment management or a related field. A Master’s Degree with three (3) years of experience; or a Doctorate’s Degree with one (1) year of experience may be substituted for the Bachelor’s Degree.
Candidates must possess a current TS/SCI with FSP

Must have strong communication skills and be able to effectively communicate technical issues.
Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including applications and programming.
Advanced knowledge of issued hardware and/or software products and excellent working knowledge of personal computers and peripherals required.
Ability to get team members to work together to accomplish tasks.
Stays up to date technically and applies new knowledge to job.
Ability to think long-term and establish achievable action plans.
Actively looks for ways to help people in the most efficient manner.
Uses logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
Understands the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making.

Compensation and Benefits:
Salary Range: $140,000-160,000 (Compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, work experience, skills, education, certifications, seniority, and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.)
