Description

Markon's partner company is seeking multiple system administrators and engineers at various levels for our Fort Meade customer.

Responsibilities

The following responsibilities and requirements for these roles are a general outline of minimum qualifications and only reflect the core competencies of the of the work. Seniority, scope of work, and position type are subject to change before the end of the interviewing process.

As a Systems Administrator or Engineer, you may be responsible for (but not limited to):
  • Designing, developing, integrating, and maintaining complex systems across various domains.
  • Analyzing system requirements, systems architecture, and technical documentation, and ensure compliance with the highest cybersecurity and regulatory standards.
  • May involve system administration, troubleshooting, and optimizing hardware and software performance.
  • Additionally, you will collaborate with stakeholders to provide technical leadership, guide system implementation, and support ongoing operations.


Qualifications

Requirements:
  • Must have a TS/SCI FSP from this customer.
  • 10-15+ years of experience as a Systems Administrator and/or Engineer (SE) with a STEM degree.
  • Expertise in system architecture, design, integration, and technical leadership.
  • Proficiency in Windows, Linux, UNIX administration, networking, and virtualization.
  • Hands-on experience with KVMs, Dell iDracs, IP iLOs, and SSH tunneling.
  • Proficiency in Python, Ansible, and automation tools for system management.

Preferred:
  • IAT Level 2 and CWIP certifications required for certain roles; cybersecurity certifications preferred.
  • Ability to develop technical documentation, system specifications, and requirements analysis.
  • Strong background in cybersecurity, vulnerability analysis, and compliance.
  • Knowledge of DODIN, RMF, NIST-800, and Zero Trust architecture.
  • Experience with hardware procurement, Power, Space, Cooling submissions, and RF system design.


Salary Range

USD $120,000.00 - USD $200,000.00 /Yr.

Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
